You’ll have excellent technical principles which you will use to elevate and nurture the people around you, providing your engineering team with architectural guidance and functional coaching to ensure the highest quality output.
Implement best practice engineering vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance. Champion and lead the creation of effective, timely, and up-to-date documentation to aid in research and development, and prevent the loss of institutional knowledge.

Strike the imperative balance between ensuring that engineering objectives and priorities are being met, whilst also focusing on commercial needs in terms of value, quality and delivery targets.
Understand organizational pain points and identify strategies to take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities.
Communicate technical matters to internal and external stakeholders to align on and support decisions.

Partner with colleagues in Production to help remove impediments for technical delivery, identify iterative improvements to workflow, and ensure Engineering capacity meets the needs of our product roadmap.
We want someone who can zoom into the details and zoom out to embrace the big picture.
Be the champion for the user and have real input on the end-user product!

You’ll strive to ensure source code integrity and accessibility for internal & external use.
Ensure that all products are developed in line with COPPA regulatory expectations.
Radar scanning – you’ll keep an eye outwards for technical innovations, observations, networking opportunities and best practices
