Role Summary
The Hub Refurbishment Head is accountable for the end-to-end performance of India’s hub network — from device intake
and quality refurbishment of Soundboxes & EDCs, to optimised distribution of devices and merchandise to the field team,
and disciplined reverse logistics back to the warehouse. This role leads 5 Hub Leads who collectively manage Hub Managers
and Refurbishment Associates across 60+ locations.
Key Responsibilities
• Refurbishment Quality & Speed: Define SOPs and quality standards for Soundbox & EDC refurbishment; drive TAT
reduction and first-pass yield improvement across all hubs.
• Distribution Optimisation: Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of devices and merchandise to field teams; minimise
stockouts and excess inventory at hub level.
• Inventory Planning: Forecast device intake, raise timely indents for refurb material, and track consumption vs
wastage to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Reverse Logistics: Ensure prompt dispatch of reverse / condemned material from hubs to the central warehouse;
maintain traceability and documentation.
• Loss Prevention: Implement controls to reduce shrinkage, pilferage, and damage of inventory and material across the
hub network.
• Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and performance-manage 5 Hub Leads; build capability and bench strength across
Hub Managers and Refurbishment Associates.
• MIS & Reporting: Own hub-level dashboards; provide weekly/monthly performance reviews to senior leadership with
corrective action plans.
• Hub Operations Standardisation: Drive uniform processes, 5S discipline, and safety compliance across all 60+ hubs.
