Data Scientist

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a professional Data Scientist to join our UniQue Ispra team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining your client portfolio by building strong, long-lasting relationships, and monitoring the progress of the projects, with the aim to provide excellent client service and added value services.

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Define and implement pipelines to ingest, harmonise, and refresh heterogeneous datasets. This includes managing version updates, schema changes, and rigorous data quality checks for each source.
• Provide ongoing assistance in maintaining TEDV technical documentation as new data sources are integrated, new indicators are developed, or methodologies are revised.
• Develop composite indicators from raw data sources, including the formal documentation of methodologies and the maintenance of a metadata catalogue to ensure all derived metrics are reproducible and auditable.
• Integrate macro-level data with micro-level beneficiary data to produce detailed regional statistics.
• Assist with territorial analyses focusing on industrial transitions and the governance of EU funds.
• Actively interact and collaborate with business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers to ensure alignment and project success
