A little bit about us

At Recycleye we are revolutionising Recycling. Our ground-breaking AI powers robots and optical sorters making waste sorting faster, cleaner and more profitable. With our advanced tech, the previously unsortable can now be sorted efficiently and effectively. Founded in 2019, we have grown rapidly ever since, with installations at leading waste management companies across Europe and the US.

We are on a mission to help our clients produce higher quality outputs – turning the world’s waste into valuable resource. And our work has never been needed more. Worldwide only 9% of plastic waste is being recycled – every day, we are proud to work on making a meaningful difference towards a sustainable future.

Be part of it – come and join us!

Why choose to work at Recycleye? Our team works together to grow and succeed, driven by our shared values of empowerment, inclusivity, and perseverance. We offer great benefits (which we think punch above our weight), built-in upskilling and unlimited holiday (yes, really).

We know that our mission will be achieved by having the most passionate, driven, talented, and all-around best people on our team. So come and shape the future and help turn trash into treasure!

The opportunity

This role will involve becoming a key member of our production team, working closely with Technicians, Project Managers and Engineers. The role will be flexible to the needs of the team, some weeks focusing more on a project build we might have in-house, other weeks focusing on improving the efficiency of our workshop, working on making ourselves more efficient.

We offer:

  • High ownership and autonomy
  • Fast-paced scale-up environment with real engineering challenges
  • Opportunity to shape processes, standards, and best practices
  • Exposure to full product lifecycle and customer deployments
  • Occasional travel (UK and international) to customer sites for installations and troubleshooting (twice per month)

Responsibilities

    • Mechanical assembly, quality testing and installation of our QuantiSort and QualiBot offerings
    • Electrical assembly and quality testing, in workshop and on-site
    • Development, building and testing of the subassemblies that make up all our product streams
    • Maintaining component traceability and ensuring the highest quality standards
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly issues or discrepancies to maintain production schedules whilst communicating this information back into improving the process
