About the Role

The Global Lead, Bid Management owns the end‑to‑end global process for deal structuring, bid management, and commercial solutioning for complex, high‑value opportunities. This role combines leadership of global bid operations with oversight of commercial governance, structuring, pricing, and risk management for strategic deals.

You will lead a global team of bid managers orchestrate cross‑functional stakeholder engagement, and ensure that Expereo’s most critical opportunities are delivered with persuasive, compliant, commercially optimized proposals that increase our win rate and strengthen long‑term customer value.

This role requires strong commercial acumen, exceptional people leadership, and deep experience managing complex deal cycles in a fast‑paced international environment.

 

Responsibilities

Leadership & Governance

  • Lead and develop the global Bid Management team, cultivating excellence, consistency, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and enforce global deal governance frameworks, procedures, and best practices across markets.
  • Manage the global Deal Qualification (go/no‑go) process and ensure alignment with commercial strategy.
  • Champion best‑practice bid methodologies and define global standards for proposal quality, compliance, and commercial rigor.

End‑to‑End Deal & Bid Ownership

  • Own strategic opportunities from qualification through contract award, including commercial strategy, value proposition, solution development, pricing, and risk management.
  • Oversee creation of persuasive, tailored proposals clearly articulating Expereo’s win themes and competitive differentiation.
  • Ensure opportunities are accurately reported and tracked across the Commercial organization.
  • Balance customer requirements with Expereo’s financial targets, legal constraints, delivery capabilities, and risk appetite.

Cross‑Functional Orchestration

  • Orchestrate global virtual teams involving Sales, Marketing, Product, Solution Architects, Finance, Commercial, Legal, and Service Delivery.
  • Govern and challenge inputs from contributors to elevate quality, ensure consistency, and mitigate commercial and technical risks.
  • Drive strong collaboration with Sales Leadership and senior stakeholders to optimize deal strategies.

Commercial Excellence & Risk Management

  • Oversee all financial aspects of bids, ensuring completeness, commercial soundness, and optimal pricing structures.
  • Track, assess, and mitigate commercial, delivery, and contractual risks throughout the bid lifecycle.
  • Conduct post‑bid and post‑award reviews to capture lessons learned and implement enhancements.

Continuous Improvement & Market Insight

  • Identify and lead improvement initiatives to enhance bid processes, tools, templates, and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Stay current on global market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to strengthen deal strategies.
  • Drive innovation in proposal development, messaging, and deal construction approaches.
