Key Assignment Areas - Graduate Trainees will be deployed to one of the core functions.
- Marine HR – supporting the end‑to‑end seafarer lifecycle, including documentation, licensing, communication, and wellbeing initiatives.
- India Shared Services Center – contributing to Anglo‑Eastern’s engine of operational excellence by delivering centralised, technology‑driven maritime support that optimises cost, enhances quality, and creates measurable value across all business units.
Scope
- Verify the mandatory documents, courses, and licenses required for seafarers.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure documentation and travel confirmations are completed.
- Coordinate with the Licensing Department regarding flag license applications.
- Dispatch mail to vessels biweekly and keep records of all mail sent. Link flag state certificates to the vessels and follow up to obtain the full-term Flag State license until it is delivered to the vessel or individual.
- Handle documentation related to the relevant flag state and retain proof of application.
- Maintain regular communication with seafarers who have disembarked from vessels.
- Arrange family connection calls during seafarers’ time onboard to ensure frequent well-being check-ins.
- Prepare and issue all necessary letters for seafarers.
