About the team

The Content & Creative video team at Airwallex Global Marketing is responsible for shaping how the world sees and interacts with the future of global financial infrastructure. We are a fast-paced, high-growth team that sits at the intersection of brand storytelling, product education, and performance marketing. We don’t just make "videos"—we build visual systems that simplify the complex and drive impact across every digital touchpoint.

About the role

We are looking for a hybrid Motion Designer & Video Editor who can bridge the gap between high-end motion graphics and fast-paced video storytelling. You aren't just an editor; you are a visual architect. You will take raw concepts and fintech products and transform them into "scroll-stopping" content—ranging from 15-second social ads to deep-dive product explainers and high-production brand campaigns.

You will own the end-to-end visual execution, ensuring our brand moves with consistency and energy across YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and beyond. This role is perfect for someone who is technically obsessed with motion curves but also strategically minded about platform-specific engagement.

What you’ll do

  • End-to-End Production: Edit high-impact short-form and long-form video content, managing everything from initial assembly and color grading to sound design and final export.

  • Motion Design Systems: Design and animate 2D/3D assets, typography, and branded overlays that translate our brand identity into a living, breathing motion language.

  • Scalability & Toolkits: Create reusable motion graphic templates and animation toolkits to empower the wider team and ensure consistency across global campaigns.

  • Strategic Storyboarding: Collaborate with producers and directors to visualize abstract financial concepts, turning complex data into clear, compelling visual narratives.

  • Platform Optimization: Rapidly produce and iterate on clips, highlights, and variations tailored for specific social algorithms (TikTok/Reels vs. LinkedIn/YouTube).

  • Future-Proofing: Proactively explore and implement AI-driven workflows (Runway, Midjourney, Sora) and design automation to stay at the cutting edge of content creation.

What you’ll bring

  • 3–5+ years of experience in motion graphics, animation, or video editing within a high-growth tech company, creative agency, or production studio.

  • Mastery of the Craft: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro. Strong skills in Illustrator/Photoshop for asset preparation and Figma for collaborative design.

  • A "Visual First" Eye: A deep understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and pacing. You know how to make a frame feel balanced and a transition feel seamless.

  • Technical Versatility: Experience with 3D tools (Cinema 4D or Blender) is a major plus. Familiarity with Lottie for web-based animations is highly valued.

  • Agility & Ownership: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality or missing deadlines.

  • A World-Class Portfolio: A reel that showcases a mix of polished brand storytelling, dynamic motion graphics, and high-energy social content.
