The role

We're hiring our first Ops Associate. You are the voice of Lucis to our members and the face of Lucis to our labs.

 

What you'll own:

  • The member experience

    • Direct ticket handling across email, chat, and phone — you're on the queue

    • Macro library, tone guide, CSAT/NPS tracking, QA of outgoing replies

    • De-escalation of sensitive health conversations

  • The lab partner portfolio (owned)

    • SLA tracking, QBR prep and running, partner documentation, SOPs

    • Field visits to collection centres across active markets

    • New partner and new centre onboarding

  • The bridge between the two (highest leverage)

    • Systemic issue detection — pattern-matching across tickets and partner performance

    • Cross-functional bug loop with Product & Engineering

    • Launch ops for new markets, partners, and product flows

    • Tooling and automation (Intercom, Attio, Notion, n8n / Make, LLM-based workflows)

In a typical week you might

  • answer 200 member tickets across email and chat — warmly, honestly, with your name on them

  • spend a morning inside a collection centre in Île-de-France, watching samples get labelled and meeting the staff who handle our members

  • run your first-ever QBR with Eurofins, using the dashboard you built last week

  • rewrite a macro library so it matches the new Lucis voice

  • ship a Notion + n8n workflow that auto-pings a lab partner when their SLA dips

  • sit in on a founders' call about launching in Belgium and leave with two action items

What we're looking for

  • 2–5 years of experience in operations-heavy roles

  • Alongside that, a track record of building operational systems — SOPs, playbooks, partner processes, dashboards that the team still uses

  • Native or fluent French + fluent English

  • Written craft under pressure — warm, structured, professional

  • Builder mentality: you ship, iterate, don't wait for a brief

Nice to have

  • Background in health, diagnostics, lab services, wellness, or consumer platforms

  • Additional European language
