The platform accelerates developer velocity through automation and infrastructure-as-code, adapting to organizations at different maturity levels鈥攆rom frontend teams requiring abstraction to advanced teams seeking autonomy.
This role sits at the intersection of deep technical expertise and strategic marketing. You will translate complex DevOps and cloud-native capabilities into compelling narratives that resonate with practitioners (Platform Engineers, SREs, DevOps teams) as well as executive stakeholders (CTOs, VPs of Engineering).
This is an AI-first marketing role. You will operate in a high-velocity environment leveraging AI tools to produce content, research, and insights at scale鈥攆ocusing on both quality and speed beyond traditional marketing approaches.
Position: Senior Product Marketing Manager
Seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager with strong roots in the DevOps and cloud-native ecosystem. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical understanding with the ability to craft clear, outcome-driven messaging and drive go-to-market strategy in an AI-first environment.
Responsibilities:
Messaging & Positioning
Develop clear, differentiated product messaging across customer segments (Platform Engineering, CI/CD, SRE, Observability)
Translate platform capabilities into outcome-driven narratives tied to real customer challenges
Build messaging frameworks for both technical and executive audiences (including CTOs and VPs of Engineering)
Create website content and marketing assets communicating differentiation and ROI
Quantify and communicate business impact (deployment speed, cost savings, risk reduction, scalability)
Market Research & Competitive Analysis
Conduct research on industry trends, customer pain points, and competitive positioning
Provide insights to influence product strategy and differentiation
Leverage AI tools to accelerate research and competitive intelligence
Go-to-Market Strategy & Product Launches
Lead go-to-market strategies for product launches
Drive adoption through market-aligned strategies and customer narratives
Develop persona-specific content for different audience levels
Sales Enablement
Develop sales collateral (pitch decks, battle cards, ROI calculators, case studies)
Partner with sales to refine messaging across the customer journey
Enable sales teams to engage both technical and executive audiences
AI-Powered Content Creation
Produce whitepapers, case studies, technical guides, blog posts, and campaign assets
Operate within an AI-first content workflow (ideation, drafting, refinement)
Simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and business audiences
Requirements:
Technical & Domain Expertise
Strong experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud-native ecosystems
Deep familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, OpenTofu, Helm), Kubernetes, and CI/CD architectures
Understanding of SRE practices (incident management, error budgets, runbooks) and observability (metrics, logs, traces)
Ability to evaluate technical content for accuracy and relevance
Comfortable engaging with engineers, architects, and senior technical leaders
AI-First Mindset
Experience working with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) for content creation and research
Ability to integrate AI into scalable content workflows
Focus on output quality and speed using AI
Strategic & Analytical Skills
Ability to translate technical capabilities into business impact narratives
Experience quantifying ROI and building business cases
Experience in market research and GTM strategy development
Collaboration & Execution
Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and sales teams
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Background as a DevOps practitioner, platform engineer, SRE, or technical marketer
Experience working with Platform Engineering, SRE, or Observability teams
Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, and CMS tools
Experience in cloud-native, IaC, Kubernetes, or CI/CD environments
