The Service Support is responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the depot, including stock control, cleanliness, vehicle loading/unloading, and supporting Joy Ambassadors with stock and cash handling. The role also provides essential field support, such as emergency relief, installations, audits, and project work. You’ll assist with vehicle compliance, new starter training, and ensure health and safety standards are upheld at all times. This is a varied, hands-on role requiring strong organisation, flexibility, and a commitment to excellent service delivery.

Duties of Role:

  • Day to day running of Warehouse, maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and stock accuracy.
  • Merchandiser stocktakes & Stock Transfers.
  • Managing and Tracking product waste.
  • Cover essential needs in the field – including emergency relief support, delivery of stock, adhoc installs and project work.
  • Support Area Leaders during holiday periods.
  • Attend training courses where required.
  • Ensure Fleet is maintained to a high level including compiling vehicle audits.
  • Maintaining and recording of vehicle weight to ensure we are legally compliant.
  • In the field audits of machines where required.
  • Assist with Onboarding of New Starters including essential training such as EdAPP, VISON and Fleet Defense Modules.
  • Holiday cover for London driver (5 weeks of the year)

Department Functions and Reporting

  • Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Work closely with the field team and relevant depot to deliver exceptional service.
  • Support the ASL’s communication of departmental or company information to the team, management, and other departments.

Health and Safety

  • Comply with all Company and Statutory regulations regarding Health and Safety
  • Make yourself aware and observe all relevant health and safety rules and procedures on customer sites.
  • Ensure appropriate PPE is always worn where relevant.
  • Ensure your company car is always kept clean and road worthy in line with company procedures.
