Staff Software Engineer – (Java, SpringBoot, Microservices) - Secure, Scalable Cloud Solutions

What you’ll do
- Lead and build: Design, develop, and maintain secure, on-premise and cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures on AWS or Azure.
- Architect at scale: Engineer solutions that integrate RDBMS/NoSQL databases, with a focus on performance and security at a global level.
- Collaborate: Partner across functions—including Product, UI/UX, QA, and fellow engineers—to turn customer needs into user-focused, agile deliverables.
- Mentor: Share your expertise by leading code reviews and supporting the professional growth of junior engineers.
- Champion best practices: Shape engineering standards, foster a culture of learning, and drive continuous improvement.
- Advise: Guide the adoption of new technologies in identity management, cloud security, and DevOps toolchains.
What you will bring
- 8+ years of experience building and delivering complex software solutions, with deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SOA, and both RDBMS and NoSQL database technologies.
- Practical knowledge of Linux-based systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, Perl).
- Excellent communication skills—able to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences and collaborate effectively.
- Proven problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative settings.
- Familiarity with software security standards and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Experience leading and/or mentoring diverse engineering teams.
- Nice to have: exposure to SAML, OAuth, identity management, PKI/certificates, and working in global, cross-functional teams.
- Experience developing cloud-native applications on AWS and/or Azure.
