  • You’re confident communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally

As a Team Assistant you will;

  • Provide administrative support to the Gardeners’ World senior team, including diary management, meeting coordination, and departmental events
  • Manage brand customer service inboxes, responding to audience queries in a timely, professional and on-brand manner, and flagging recurring issues or trends to relevant teams
  • Manage editorial and website inboxes, triaging queries and forwarding them to the appropriate teams
  • Support the planning and delivery of brand activity at Gardeners’ World events, including logistics and coordination
  • Process expenses and manage corporate card submissions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in line with company policies
  • Raise and manage purchase orders, invoices and commission payments, ensuring they are processed efficiently
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation bookings for team members where needed
  • Support the running of competitions, including liaising with PRs, setting up web pages, promoting via social channels and selecting winners
  • Help manage and maintain shared team calendars
  • Support key brand initiatives (e.g. Garden of the Year), including administrative tasks such as handling entries and downloads
  • Maintain internal resources, including updating book logs, requesting materials and helping to manage the GW library and physical archive
  • Help maintain an organised working environment, including managing post, samples and general team resources, and keeping office spaces tidy
  • Organise team activities such as away days and seasonal events
  • Upload and manage basic content or information within internal systems where required
  • Support the team with ad hoc administrative tasks and projects as needed
