Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group (“CC&L FG”) is seeking an Analyst or Senior Analyst to join our Performance and Attribution Solutions Team (PAS). Our team focuses on delivering post-trade analytics to stakeholders and collaborating with affiliates to enhance their investment processes through value-add analytics. We are a team of professionals who engage with all levels of the organization, including direct interactions with our Portfolio Managers. What You Will Do

  • Investment performance calculations, attribution analysis, analytics and portfolio risk reporting across public / private asset classes.

  • Support sales and marketing requests and provide data for RFPs and DDQs

  • Research, propose, and maintain performance measurement and attribution methodologies for existing and new products.

  • Develop and manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Provide analytical problem solving and troubleshooting.

  • Identify process improvements and leverage best practices across the team.

  • Understand new products and ensure proper reporting is in place.

What You Bring

  • Excellent Communicator, both verbal and written. Ability to express ideas, explain analytics/ methodologies and lead solution-oriented discussions with a wide range of audiences. 

  • You have a collaborative spirit that helps you to work well with others and you communicate effectively.

  • The ideal candidate has a passion for advancing the quality, scale and efficiency of data processes and is able to take ownership of multiple processes with keen attention to detail

  • You constantly take a critical eye to processes with the goal of finding improvement opportunities and bring an ability to manage multiple projects.

  • You possess an analytical mindset and can detect patterns to solve problems.

  • You are able to pick up new Systems and tools quickly. You have advanced computer skills with an emphasis on MS Excel, Power Bi and have a desire to learn basic database query languages.

  • You have an Undergraduate degree in business, mathematics or a related field. You are also enrolled (or considering enrollment) in the CFA or CIPM program.

  • 1 to 5+ years’ experience in the investment management industry or comparable. Any direct experience with Investment analytics or performance measurement would be considered an asset.

The salary range for this position is $75,000-$110,000.  The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislationIn addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation of this position.
