About EatClub

At EatClub, we believe restaurants and bars are the beating heart of every city’s culture. Whether it's discovering a hidden gem, grabbing a late-night takeaway, or meeting friends for a drink, our mission is simple: help the hospitality industry thrive through smart, powerful tech.

Our platform helps over 2 million customers discover top restaurants and access real-time deals that save them up to 50% off the bill. We empower more than 4,000 venues to fill empty tables, increase foot traffic, and maximise revenue.

Recently ranked #11 on the 2025 Deloitte Tech Fast 50! Now is an exciting time to join our team. Initially co-founded by Marco Pierre White and leaders in the food tech scene, we’re now a 150+ person scaleup that’s growing fast and making waves in the industry.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

  • Run your region like your own business - full ownership, high autonomy, real accountability
  • Be the face of EatClub in a market that's yours to shape, not a patch handed down from a larger team
  • Work in a category people genuinely love, with venue partners who are invested in making it work
  • Clear career path into bigger territories, state-level leadership, or new market launches
  • Staff discounts and dining vouchers to enjoy through EatClub

A Day-in-a-Life of our Territory Manager

Your territory is yours. You sit inside the state team but operate with real autonomy as the single point of accountability for your patch. You know your operators by name. You walk the high streets. You make EatClub feel local, not imported.

Some days you're managing the venues already in your portfolio - running performance conversations, saving at-risk accounts, optimising deals. Other days you're out signing new venues to replace churn or close whitespace you spotted last week. You use platform data to guide your decisions, but your best intelligence comes from being in the market, not watching it from a dashboard.

This is a role for someone equally comfortable managing relationships and closing new business - someone who treats their region like a GM treats their business, and who doesn't need anyone standing over them to get things done.

What You'll Own:

  • Your Territory - Full accountability for EatClub's performance in your region: revenue, transactions, venue mix, and brand presence. You are the business in your market.
  • Account Management - Manage and grow the venues already in your portfolio. Run pause-saves, churn-saves, deal optimisations, and proactive performance conversations with venue owners. Deliver a high level of in-person service to your top venues.
  • Sales and Signing - When the territory loses venues, you replace them. If six venues churn this month, you sign six. You spot whitespace in your market and close it - the right venues, in the right suburbs, at the right density. You work alongside the broader sales organisation, but you don't wait for them when you see an opportunity.
  • Proactive Territory Growth - Think like a GM of your region: where is demand building, where are the hospitality precincts moving, which operators are opening next? Build relationships with local hospitality bodies, councils, and industry groups. Partner with the marketing team on local events and activations. Feed local intelligence back to the business so EatClub gets smarter about each region over time.

On any given week, you will be:

  • Visiting your top venues in person - running performance conversations, deal reviews, and relationship building
  • Prospecting and following up with new venue targets across your pipeline
  • Reviewing platform data to identify which venues need intervention and what type
  • Coordinating with the broader state team on shared initiatives, campaigns, and market priorities
  • Building local relationships beyond your venue portfolio - industry groups, precincts, and key operators in your region

Type of projects you’ll be working on at EatClub…

  • Territory health audit: Assessing your region's venue mix, deal quality, and coverage gaps, then building and executing a plan to address the highest-priority areas
  • Whitespace closing: Mapping the hospitality precincts in your territory, identifying which operators are missing from EatClub, and systematically closing the gaps
  • Local market activation: Partnering with the marketing team on campaigns, events, or sponsorships that raise EatClub's profile in your region and drive venue and customer growth simultaneously
  • Churn intervention programme: Using platform data and on-the-ground relationships to identify at-risk venues early and intervene before they leave

You have….

  • 2 to 4 years of experience combining account management and new business sales
  • A clear track record of managing a portfolio AND confidently signing new business - you are comfortable on both sides of the role
  • Strong commercial judgement: you know when to invest in a venue relationship and when to cut your losses
  • High autonomy - you organise your own week, set your own priorities, and deliver without needing daily direction
  • Strong in-person presence and genuine comfort building relationships across venue operators, industry bodies, and local networks

It would be extra awesome if you also had…

  • Worked in hospitality, food tech, SaaS, or marketplaces
  • Local knowledge of your target region - the operators, the precincts, the key players
  • An existing network in your city's hospitality scene
  • Experience launching or growing a new market from early stage
  • Exposure to territory-based or field-led commercial roles

You are…

  • A self-starter who treats your territory like you own the business, not like a patch to maintain
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive - you identify opportunities before you are briefed on them
  • Well-connected, or genuinely motivated to become the person the local hospitality scene knows and trusts
  • Commercially sharp and outcome-focused - your benchmark is what's happening in the market, not what's on the activity report
  • Adaptable and organised in an environment that moves fast and rewards initiative

If you do a good job…

Your territory will grow - more venues, better deal quality, stronger EatClub brand presence across the region. The local hospitality community will know who you are and what EatClub stands for. Strong performers will have the opportunity to take on larger territories, move into state-level leadership, or lead new regional market launches as EatClub expands.

Maybe this role is not for you if….

  • You prefer desk-based work over being out in your market most of the week
  • You're uncomfortable with the sales side of the role - replacing churn and closing new venues is a core part of the job
  • You want a structured environment with clear daily direction - this role rewards people who set their own agenda
  • You're not interested in being publicly visible in your local industry - relationships are everything in this market

If you're curious about what we're building, you're welcome to explore EatClub ahead of your interview. First-time users who choose to give it a try can use the code "ECAPPLY5" for an optional $5 voucher to test the experience. This is entirely voluntary and has no impact on your application or interview process.

One last note:
even if you feel that you don’t meet all the criteria above, we encourage you to apply. Past work experience is not the only indicator of future success, and we are on the look out for hungry talent who wants to grow with us. So if you want to be a part of something remarkable, then we’re excited to hear from you.
