WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a high-caliber Regional Business Controller to join our Group Controlling team in Prague (Czech Republic) and take ownership of the Western Europe (WE) portfolio at a Group level. In this role, you will act as a true sparring partner to Country Leadership teams, challenging performance, assumptions, and business decisions across the region.

You will combine strong analytical thinking with business judgement, going beyond reporting to actively shape insights and drive discussions. The role requires someone who is comfortable operating in complexity, asking the right questions, and using data to influence outcomes.


SOME OF THE INTERESTING CHALLENGES AHEAD OF YOU

  • Act as finance business partner and challenger to WE Country Leadership teams and controllers.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Co-pilot country budgeting and forecasting processes across the WE region, providing challenge and structure.
  • Translate data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Own and continuously improve reporting outputs (Tableau, dashboards, automation).
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to increase efficiency and depth of analysis.
  • Prepare Board- and management-level materials with a strong focus on insight and narrative.
  • Lead and respond to ad-hoc analytical topics with speed and quality.
  • Challenge data integrity, assumptions, and business cases where needed.


WHAT YOU NEED TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE

  • Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in controlling, finance, or asset management.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to form independent views and challenge the business constructively.
  • Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) and advanced Excel.
  • Familiarity with automation and/or AI tools is desired.
  • Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Ability to navigate a multi-country, stakeholder-heavy environment.
  • English language proficiency.
