The Head of Development owns PFM's engineering organization end-to-end. This is a high-ownership role for someone who leads from the front - writing code, making architectural decisions, and building with AI at their side. You will set the technical bar, drive consistent delivery, and be the bridge between engineering and company leadership. In a fast-moving environment, priorities shift without warning. You are expected to adapt immediately, re-prioritize without friction, and always be thinking 10 steps ahead - anticipating architectural needs, scaling challenges, and product directions before they are formally asked for. We expect you to be deeply hands-on with Claude Code and AI-assisted development: not as a buzzword, but as a core part of how you work every day.
We are not looking for someone who simply manages a team. We are looking for a builder - someone who ships fast, holds the bar high, and uses AI as a genuine force multiplier. You will own engineering end-to-end, integrate Claude Code and AI- assisted workflows into every layer of development, and drive Prop Firm Match into its next phase of growth. Priorities shift. Requirements evolve. The roadmap moves. You must be able to adapt instantly, anticipate what is coming before it is asked, and always be thinking 10 steps ahead of the current feature set.
