Manager, Business Development (ANZ)

What You'll Do:

  • Mentor and Empower: You will recruit, onboard, and mentor a high-performing team, opening doors for their internal promotions and future career moves.
  • Strategic Influence: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to design outreach campaigns, using your instincts to navigate the unique cultural nuances of the European market.
  • Innovate with Technology: Lead the charge in leveraging AI and state-of-the-art sales tools to automate the "grind," allowing your team to focus on high-impact, creative engagement.
  • Global Collaboration: Partner with peers in AMER and APAC to ensure ANZ is a synchronised part of our global engine, building an impressive international network of contacts.
  • Data-Driven Leadership: Use data-driven insights to provide the "colour commentary" that helps executive leadership understand our regional success.

This Role Requires:

  • Leadership Experience: Significant experience in B2B technical sales, including a proven track record in a management or team leadership position.
  • Strategic Mindset: A deep understanding of outbound pipeline generation and the tactical differences between selling in various European hubs like London, Munich, or Madrid.
  • Coaching Passion: A genuine interest in learning and development, helping others become better at what they do.
  • Technical Proficiency: Confidence using Salesforce and sales engagement tools to streamline work and stay at the forefront of the field.
  • Communication Skills: Fluency in English with the ability to communicate a clear vision and foster a supportive team culture.

Bonus Points:

  • Multilingual Skills: Fluency in German, Spanish, or French is a significant advantage, allowing you to connect even more deeply with our diverse customer base.
  • Academic Background: A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Scale-Up Experience: Success stories of achieving measurable goals within a rapidly growing or "challenger" environment.
