What you’ll be doing
As a Senior Sales Manager in the Ads & Promo team, you’ll play a key role in planning, monitoring, and optimising advertising and promotion campaigns for our partners. You’ll collaborate closely with the Global Ads and Account Management team to ensure campaigns are aligned with client goals and deliver strong results. This is a great opportunity for someone with a data-driven mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for digital advertising. You may also come from a background in digital marketing or paid media, such as an Account Manager, Digital Marketing Specialist or Paid Media Specialist, as these skills transfer exceptionally well into the role.
Day-to-day in this role:
- Own enterprise partnership growth: Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for each enterprise partner, identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts (upsells, cross-sells, new verticals).
- Build deep strategic relationships: Work with C-level stakeholders and decision-makers at enterprise partners to understand their business objectives, competitive challenges, and how Wolt Ads can solve for them.
- Launch & optimize new ad and promotion products: Introduce new advertising and promotion solutions and product features to enterprise partners, ensuring smooth implementation and quick time-to-value that drives adoption and revenue.
- Full-Scale Retail Dominance: Accelerate Wolt Ads to the next level by capturing the entire Retail vertical - from global enterprise chains to local merchants - establishing the platform as the universal engine for retail growth.
- Drive revenue growth through partnerships: Negotiate and close high-value advertising and promotion investment deals with a strategic focus on long-term partnership value, product adoption, and measurable business impact.
- Monitor and optimize campaign performance: Work with partners and internal teams to analyze campaign data, identify optimization opportunities, and ensure partners are achieving their KPIs and ROAS targets.
- Collaborate across teams: Global Ads and Promotion, Partner with Account Management, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with partner goals.
- Develop operational excellence: Identify ways to streamline ad operations, improve campaign setup and launch processes, and increase team efficiency without sacrificing quality.
- Drive reporting & insights: Work with the analytics team to develop custom reporting that tells a compelling story about partner performance, helping us demonstrate clear ROI and justify continued investment.
- Stay ahead of market trends: Continuously monitor the competitive landscape, emerging advertising trends, and partner needs to position Wolt Ads as the category leader.
Our humble expectations
- +5 years of proven experience in advertising sales, media sales, or ad platform management with a track record of closing and managing enterprise-level deals.
- Deep advertising platform expertise: You understand ad metrics, campaign optimization, media buying fundamentals, and how to position premium advertising solutions to sophisticated clients. Experience with platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, or similar ad platforms is a strong plus.
- Enterprise sales acumen: Proven ability to navigate complex negotiations, identify expansion opportunities within accounts, and close high-value deals with C-level stakeholders.
- Strategic relationship builder: You excel at understanding client business goals and translating them into advertising strategies that deliver measurable ROI - you're not transactional, you're strategic.
- Data-driven mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to use performance data (CTR, CPC, ROAS, conversion metrics) to inform decisions and drive optimization.
- Excellent communication skills: You can present complex advertising concepts clearly to executive audiences and simplify technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with product, marketing, operations, and technical teams to drive partnerships forward.
- Ownership mentality: You take full responsibility for partnership health and revenue growth - no excuses, just results.
- Growth mindset: You're energized by the challenge of expanding partnerships, launching new products, and opening new verticals. You constantly ask, "What's next?"Fluency in Kazakh, Russian, and English: Strong language skills are essential for managing enterprise relationships across the region.
