Interpath (Ireland) are seeking an Associate to join our Data & Technology practice. The team specialises in delivering technology-enabled investigations, litigation support, and regulatory response services across complex disputes, internal investigations, and cyber incidents. Our work frequently involves large-scale data collections, advanced analytics, and the management of complex electronic evidence across multiple jurisdictions.

Our casework is global in scope and often involves working alongside legal counsel, regulators, and corporate clients on high-profile matters. As part of Interpath’s rapidly expanding Advisory capabilities, you will work closely with our industry-leading specialists across digital forensics, cyber incident response, investigations, and data analytics teams in our international offices.

This role would suit an experienced eDiscovery professional who is looking to further develop their technical and project management skills within a fast-growing and collaborative environment. You will typically have 3+ years’ experience within an eDiscovery, digital forensics, or litigation support team and be comfortable managing large datasets and working directly with clients and legal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage leading eDiscovery platforms, including RelativityOne, Nuix, and other document review and analytics technologies, to process, analyse, and produce electronically stored information (ESI).
  • Conduct digital forensic collections from a variety of sources including laptops, servers, cloud platforms (M365, Google Workspace), mobile devices, and enterprise systems, ensuring best-practice forensic procedures are followed.
  • Maintain chain of custody documentation and ensure the defensibility and integrity of collected data throughout the evidence lifecycle.
  • Assist with the processing, culling, deduplication, and analytics of large datasets, including the use of email threading, concept clustering, technology assisted review (TAR), and other advanced analytics techniques.
  • Support litigation, arbitration, and regulatory investigations by preparing datasets for review, managing productions, and ensuring compliance with agreed disclosure protocols.
  • Prepare clear and concise technical reports, workflows, and documentation detailing data collection methods, processing methodologies, and findings.
  • Work collaboratively with legal teams, investigation specialists, and data analytics professionals to support complex cross-border matters.
  • Engage with clients and legal counsel to understand data sources, investigative objectives, and discovery requirements.
  • Provide guidance to junior analysts and review teams, supporting best practices in data handling, processing, and platform workflows.
  • Assist with project management of multiple concurrent matters, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are maintained.
  • Contribute to internal innovation and process improvement, including automation, workflow optimisation, and the implementation of new investigative technologies.
  • Support business development initiatives, including proposal preparation, technical demonstrations, and participation in sector events where appropriate.
