Job Description

We are currently looking for a Corporate Communications Manager / Senior Manager to collaborate with the Global Director of Communication and Sustainability in the design and implementation of the external and internal communications strategy in India. This position will be based in Hyderabad or alternatively in New Delhi.

 

We are looking for a professional with around 10 years of experience in corporate communication, working for multinational companies or communication consultancy firms with expertise in the energy sector. Experience in media relations (network) and the renewable energy sector is a plus, as media relations and social media will be the main tasks for the new employee.

Key Responsibilities

External communications

  • Creation of the brand and reputation awareness strategy and annual plan
  • Definition of Key Messages and Q&A
  • Local adaptation of global corporate communication materials
  • Media relations: media mapping, creation of long-term relationships with key journalists covering the energy sector, pitching for communication opportunities (interviews, reports, etc.), creation and distribution of press releases.
  • Social media management: Calendarization and creation of posts on LinkedIn for Indian followers in coordination with the global strategy.
  • Identification and management of speaking opportunities (including sponsorship).
  • Assist the local leaders/spokespersons of the organization on how to properly manage communication opportunities.
  • Organization of events for solar power plant interconnections, groundbreaking, etc. (coordinating event organization partners)

Internal communication

  • Management of internal communication channels with specific content for India, including content creation (messages + design).
  • Support in the organization of internal events and the creation of campaigns and actions to increase employee engagement in India in collaboration with the HR Department.

Branding

  • Coordination of the different needs of branding elements in India.
