Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are recruiting a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join us on a permanent basis. If you love the outdoors whether its rain or shine, then this could be the role for you! You'll carry out a wide range of grounds maintenance tasks using various equipment, these tasks include grass cutting, shrub bed works and site clearance works.

You will be provided with all the necessary support, PPE and equipment to carry out your role safely and effectively. In return, you will receive IOSH Accredited training and a certificate!

Duties include:

• Deliver a grounds maintenance service based on customer involvement, satisfaction and sustainability
• Work as part of a team to maintain all Incommunities spaces to a high standard of appearance and safety
• Carry out a wide range of grounds maintenance tasks including grass cutting, shrub bed works and site clearance works
• Comfortable using heavy equipment and carrying this to and from the van

You will be a star performer if you:

• You have basic grounds maintenance knowledge or the willingness to learn
• You have previously used tools such as mowers, strimmers, hedge trimmers and back pack blowers
• You are an excellent team player with good communication skills
• You are self motivated, respectful, trustworthy and punctual
