Role overview:
We are looking for a strategic and commercially driven Sales Manager - Media & Entertainment (UK) to lead advertising revenue growth across key partnerships and agency agreements, including collaborations with leading platforms such as Netflix, Disney, and Amazon.
This is a high-impact, client-facing role at the core of our advertising business, responsible for managing the full sales cycle - from opportunity identification and media planning to negotiation and deal closure.
You will own relationships with key partners and agencies, drive commercial conversations, and ensure revenue targets are met by translating content and platform capabilities into scalable advertising solutions.
Acting as a central point of coordination, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Product, AdOps, and Content teams to bring compelling offerings to market, while maintaining direct accountability for deal execution and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Define and develop innovative advertising products leveraging premium video and CTV inventory from key content partners, with direct accountability for their commercial success.
- Translate platform and content capabilities into scalable, sellable ad solutions tailored to advertiser needs, ensuring strong market fit and revenue generation.
- Collaborate with Product and Content teams to identify upcoming opportunities and proactively shape commercially viable media strategies.
- Own end-to-end responses to advertiser briefs and RFPs, from strategic proposal development to commercial negotiation and deal closure.
- Build and manage strong relationships with agencies, advertisers, and key Media & Entertainment partners
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact for selected partners, identifying growth opportunities and expanding existing agreements.
- Drive joint business planning and long-term partnership value.
- Provide guidance and training on new offerings, while maintaining alignment with revenue objectives.
- Align internal teams around commercial priorities, timelines, and delivery expectations.
- Provide structured market feedback to inform product development and monetization strategies.
- Maintain and update a library of templated packages and pricing strategies to enable faster turnaround.
- Train and support commercial teams on new advertising offerings, GTM strategies, and partner-specific packages.
- Act as the strategic bridge between Sales, Product, AdOps, and Content to ensure alignment on what is being sold and how it is executed.
- Help shape media packaging and pricing strategies that maximize yield and revenue opportunity.
- Use performance data (including platforms like Kochava) to inform proposal development and product iteration.
- Monitor campaign effectiveness of bespoke solutions and feed learnings back into future planning.
