Guide to what an Account Development Manager does at Cybit

The Account Development Manager (ADM) plays a critical role in generating high‑quality sales pipeline to support Cybit’s revenue growth. Through outbound and inbound activity, the ADM engages prospects, qualifies opportunities, and develops early‑stage pipeline before handing over to Account Managers. Acting as a key link between prospects, Account Managers, and Sales Leadership, the ADM ensures opportunities are well‑qualified, clearly documented, and progressed in line with Cybit’s sales processes.

This role offers clear opportunities for progression and professional development, providing a strong pathway to grow capability and advance your career within a dynamic technology organisation.

We are looking for someone with

  • Ability to carry out outbound activity (calls, emails, campaigns) to engage new, existing, and dormant accounts
  • Confidence booking high‑quality meetings and capturing clear customer needs, context, and next steps
  • Ability to qualify and progress early‑stage opportunities, supporting pipeline development and handover to Account Managers and Account Directors
  • Experience supporting Account Managers or senior sales roles with sales administration, quoting, renewals, pricing requests, follow‑ups, and order progression
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and high‑volume workloads
  • Clear, professional communication and the ability to act as a key link across customers, vendors, and internal teams, providing clear updates on progress, risks, blockers, and next actions
  • High attention to detail when managing quotes, customer requests, actions, and internal coordination
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and experience keeping records, activities, and pipeline data accurate and up to date
  • Strong interest in developing commercial and account‑management capability, with ambition to progress toward an Account Manager or Account Director role
