Your Role in Our Story: 

In essence, your role involves:

 

  • Monitor and analyze carbon market policies and regulations Stay on top of developments in EU and international carbon markets, identifying key changes and their implications.
  • Translate regulation into business insight Turn complex policy frameworks into clear, actionable guidance for commercial and product teams.
  • Drive product innovation Identify opportunities for new products and services based on regulatory changes and market needs, and support their development from concept to launch.
  • Support go-to-market readiness Work closely with commercial, legal, and operations teams to ensure products are compliant, relevant, and ready for market.
  • Shape ACT’s voice in the market Contribute to advocacy efforts, position papers, and external communications to strengthen ACT’s presence in policy discussions.
  • Engage with industry stakeholders Represent ACT at conferences, workshops, and with regulatory bodies to stay connected and influence market developments.

 

 

Your Expertise: 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:

 

  • 3–6 years of experience in policy, regulation, or carbon/environmental markets
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks
  • A genuine interest in carbon markets and policies such as the Paris Agreement, CORSIA, and EU Climate laws.
  • The ability to connect policy insights to commercial opportunities
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • A degree in a relevant field such as Public Policy, Environmental Science, Economics, or Engineering
