👀 The Role
Title: Compliance Officer - Canada
Team: Compliance
Location: Remote - Ontario, Canada
This role will play a critical part in supporting Midnite’s expansion and ongoing operations in Canada, and will mark our first dedicated compliance hire in the region. Sitting at the intersection of compliance, product, marketing, and operations, you’ll help ensure we meet regulatory expectations while enabling the business to move quickly and responsibly. You’ll work across the organisation to embed scalable compliance processes, support regulatory readiness, and protect both players and the business as we continue to grow.
You will:
- Monitor and interpret Canadian gambling regulations, including AGCO and iGaming Ontario requirements
- Review and approve marketing campaigns, promotions, and player communications
- Support responsible gambling and player protection initiatives
- Assist with AML and financial crime compliance processes
- Review product features and player journeys for regulatory impact
- Support audits, regulatory reviews, and reporting obligations
- Maintain compliance documentation, controls, and governance tracking
- Partner with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering teams to embed compliance by design
- Identify and mitigate regulatory risks across operational processes
- Provide pragmatic compliance guidance to stakeholders across the business
