You'll be working on Wizz, a social app specifically designed for GenZ, boasting over 3 million monthly active users in the US and UK. Wizz is a friend-finding and flirting chat app where young people can safely express themselves and connect with like-minded peers in an authentic, pressure-free environment.

Unlike other social media platforms that focus on followers, posts, or passive consumption, Wizz offers young people a space to have meaningful 1:1 conversations with peers. As a member of a high-performing team of 20, you'll collaborate to further scale and enhance Wizz, fostering a spirit of goodwill and creativity.

Role

Wizz app is looking for a Creative Strategist Intern to join our Creative team, which produces performance-driven ad creatives to attract new users and optimize Wizz's campaign impact. You will assist in shaping the creative vision and strategic direction for the Wizz app. By identifying trends, supporting creative decisions, and helping turn insights into action, you will play a key role in making Wizz a global hit.

You’ll also help transform strategic insights into clear creative briefs rooted in benchmarking and ideation, enabling our Creative Leads and Producers to execute with clarity.

Responsibilities
  • Brief Creation: Help generate structured, insight-driven creative briefs based on your benchmark analysis, market intelligence, and ideation sessions.

  • Production Support: Contribute to defining the weekly guidelines, priorities, and execution standards for creative production.

  • Benchmarking: Conduct and continuously update extensive market benchmarks using internal tools and third-party platforms (e.g., Sensor Tower, Apptica, Ads libraries…) to spot high-performing creative trends early.

  • Creative Deconstruction: Analyze top-performing competitor creatives in the social app space, providing actionable insights and identifying storytelling patterns to fuel our team's ideation.

  • Cross-Pollination: Benchmark primarily within the social and dating app landscape, while also drawing creative inspiration from broader mobile ecosystems (e.g., mobile gaming and entertainment apps).

  • Collaboration: Work closely with Growth team, Artisits, and creators insights are adopted effectively and creative learnings are scaled across the Wizz App.

  • Process Improvement: Participate in auditing existing creative workflows and suggest fresh ideas to maximize our creative output and impact.

Your Profile
  • Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Strategy, or a related field. Previous internship experience in a similar role, strategy, or product/creative marketing is a strong plus.

  • User focused: Deep knowledge of the US Gen Z culture and trends. You know TikTok like the palm of your hands.

  • Strategic Thinker: A strong desire to learn how to envision, articulate, and document compelling creative strategies.

  • Data-Curious: Comfortable with (or eager to learn) analytics and benchmarking tools to interpret data, draw insights, and understand what drives performance.

  • Creative Mindset: Strong ideation skills with the ability to turn observations and insights into powerful hypotheses and out-of-the-box ideas.

  • Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of helping craft clear briefs and persuasive recommendations.

  • Team Player: A collaborative spirit with a versatile mindset; you are a fast learner eager to innovate, iterate, and constructively challenge the status quo.
