🏢 About the Customer Success Account Management Team
The Customer Success Account Manager (CSAM) Team at Maki is instrumental in delivering value, impact, and long-term success for our clients. CSAMs are essential in ensuring clients successfully adopt MakiPeople's AI solutions and achieve measurable ROI, serving as trusted advisors and the main point of contact for our customers.
We are a small, experienced team managing a portfolio of enterprise clients across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond—and we move quickly. AI is at the heart of our operations, not just as a buzzword, but as an everyday practice.
💪 Your Mission
You will work directly with the CSAM team, gaining experience in the full customer success workflow: from analyzing client data to supporting QBRs and client communications. Beyond daily support tasks, we expect more.
We want you to identify a need within the team, take ownership, build a solution, and leave a lasting mark. Previous interns have developed AI-powered internal tools, redesigned hiring workflows, and built client-facing reporting systems from the ground up. If you’re someone who identifies problems and proposes solutions before being asked, this role is for you.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Analyze client usage data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Prepare reports, QBR decks, and presentations to support client conversations
Use AI tools daily to enhance the speed and quality of your work
Own at least one project from scoping to delivery that meaningfully improves the team
Maintain accurate records across internal systems and contribute to team knowledge-sharing
Learn our AI hiring platform and help clients understand its impact
Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Care teams to ensure an excellent client experience
🧞 Our Ideal Candidate
Excellent written and verbal English — mandatory, as most client communication is in English
A high level of French is a plus, but not required
Proficient in using AI tools for work or studies, with the ability to explain how and why — more than just having tried ChatGPT
Self-starter: you identify problems and propose solutions proactively
Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with data
Curious about AI and HR tech, and genuinely eager to understand how enterprise clients adopt new technology
Currently enrolled in a Master’s program and able to obtain an internship agreement from your university

💫 Our Process
We aim to complete the entire process within approximately three weeks from your first step. We provide feedback at every stage, either through our platform or directly after interviews.
Step 1: Mochi Conversational Screening (~15 mins) — An asynchronous, AI-powered screen with logistics questions and two short behavioral questions. Low pressure, fully async.
Step 2: Assessment on Maki (~35 mins) — A structured set of tests covering English proficiency, attention to detail, an AI proficiency exercise, and a results-oriented interview.
Step 3: Interview with the Team (45 mins) — A focused conversation covering your experience, earlier stages, and a forward-looking discussion on your potential contributions.
Step 4: AI Case Study (~60 mins, take-home) — A short practical task that reflects real work in the role. You may use any AI tools you prefer.
Step 5: Offer 💌 — If it’s a match, we move quickly.
