About the Role
We’re seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of 7 talented engineers as part of our Responsible Gaming and Compliance division. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will drive technical excellence, foster innovation, and deliver high-performance systems that scale while ensuring adherence to industry standards and compliance requirements.
In this role, you’ll mentor, guide, and empower your team, bridging the gap between technology and business to create meaningful impact. You thrive in fast-paced, complex environments and are passionate about coaching, building, and growing high-performing teams that contribute to safe and responsible gaming experiences.
As an Engineering Manager, you will:
Technical Leadership
- Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance systems.
- Oversee system architecture, balancing innovation, maintainability, and performance.
- Drive incident management and operational excellence in compliance-heavy environments.
- Champion best practices, testing, and quality assurance across teams.
Team Management
- Mentor, coach, and grow engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and innovation.
- Provide career guidance, constructive feedback, and motivation.
- Build cohesion across frontend and backend squads to align goals and delivery.
Strategic & Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Balance priorities between new feature development, system maintenance, and bug fixing.
- Drive continuous improvement in workflows, observability, and incident response.
