The role

We are looking for proactive and detail-oriented Graduate Transfer Operations Analysts to join Trading 212 and help us build and maintain Transfer Operations processes, ensuring that inbound and outbound portfolio transfers are run effectively and efficiently to deliver a seamless customer experience. Responsibilities cover the end-to-end transfer journey: from assisting with operational exceptions and discrepancies to coordinating with brokers and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of stock, ETF, and cash transfers.

What you’ll do

  • Support the execution and monitoring of essential daily and event-driven operational processes across inbound and outbound portfolio transfers (stocks, ETFs, and cash).

  • Assist with reviewing transfer requests for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal protocols and regulatory requirements.

  • Support the coordination of stock, ETF, and cash transfers by communicating daily with brokers and internal teams.

  • Support client queries regarding transfer status and help ensure timely resolutions in collaboration with Customer Support.

  • Assist with investigating discrepancies and transfer-related issues throughout the transfer lifecycle, escalating where needed.

  • Support reconciliation activities for securities settlements and cash movements to maintain accurate records.

  • Assist with monitoring upcoming corporate actions and support appropriate handling to minimise impact on portfolio transfers.

  • Support monitoring of internal systems to identify potential disruptions and escalate promptly

  • Contribute to process improvements and operational projects under the guidance of senior team members.

What you need to have

  • A predicted or achieved 2:1 degree (or higher) in a STEM subject.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to handle client and broker interactions professionally.

  • A keen interest in financial markets and trading operations.

  • Previous experience in financial services, investment banking, or fintech (internships included) is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, basic modelling); SQL, Python, or R is a plus (TBC).

  • Full-time availability and willingness to work in an in-office environment.

  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

  • Fundamental understanding of corporate actions.

  • Knowledge of SQL or Python.

  • Experience with Refinitiv, Bloomberg, or alternative financial data providers.

  • Internship or project exposure to financial services/fintech operations is an advantage.
