As a Horticultural Maintenance Technician with Ambius, you will have a strong work ethic and keen attention to detail. You will also be able to work independently and possess a genuine desire to service customers by taking the best possible care of the plants in their work environment.
● Visit customer sites on a regular basis as established by route plan
● Safely drive a service vehicle in urban and rural settings
● Service all required plants on the specified day - Water, prune, and fertilise plants as needed; Trim, and removing debris from planters; Gauge soil moisture accurately with a soil probe
● Exercise trained techniques to apply appropriate amounts of water per lighting conditions and plant requirements.
● Maintain and communicate appropriate light conditions and orientation
● Ensure plants as well as display containers are clean and free of dust and debris
● Keeping all plants free from diseases and insects
● Maintain appearance of top dressing and other ornamental elements
● Occasional work from ladders up to 6 ft to reach and service tall plants and living wall systems
● Prevent damage to surrounding floors, walls, carpet, furniture, etc. from water and/or moisture
