Orion Health is looking for an experienced and motivated Intermediate Implementation Consultant to join our team. In this role, you’ll work closely with healthcare clients to implement, configure, and support innovative healthcare integration solutions that improve outcomes for millions of people worldwide.

Must Have: Fluent French language skills (written and verbal) are essential for this role.

Location: Spain, Madrid or Palma 

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Intermediate Implementation Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering Orion Health’s software solutions to healthcare organisations. You’ll work directly with clients and internal teams to design, configure, test, and deploy solutions while supporting customers through their transition to “business as usual.”

You will:

  • Design, configure, test, and document software solutions based on functional and business requirements.
  • Support the implementation and deployment of healthcare integration and interoperability solutions.
  • Configure and maintain product routes, scripts, and system configurations to support upgrades and version control.
  • Participate in front-end solution design, installation, tuning, and high-availability configurations.
  • Reverse engineer healthcare IT interfaces and develop message/interface specifications.
  • Perform data extraction, conversion, transformation, and manipulation tasks.
  • Troubleshoot technical and implementation issues remotely and onsite where required.
  • Collaborate with internal development, projects, and sales teams to deliver successful client outcomes.
  • Review architecture and solution designs and provide recommendations aligned with industry best practices and Orion standards.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Use issue tracking systems to analyse, prioritise, track, and resolve technical issues.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and support clients during transition to operational support teams.
  • Continuously develop your technical and healthcare industry knowledge.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • Fluent French language skills (spoken and written) are required.
  • A passion for healthcare technology and solving complex technical problems.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering software implementation or systems integration projects.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively within cross-functional teams.

Experience

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

  • 4+ years of experience in software implementation, systems integration, or development projects.
  • Experience implementing healthcare integration software and/or ETL technologies.
  • Exposure to healthcare, hospital, or healthcare vendor environments.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare interoperability and messaging standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
  • Experience with integration technologies including:
    • HL7 messaging
    • XML/JSON
    • APIs (HTTP/HTTPS)
    • ETL processes
  • Experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical processes.
  • Experience with web-based integrations and multi-tier architectures preferred.
  • Exposure to Windows server operating systems and diagnostic tools is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
