The Role

Black Semiconductor is looking for an Internal Communications Manager (f/m/d) to own and drive internal communication across the organization as we continue to grow.

This role exists to structurally improve how we communicate internally - building the infrastructure, communication rhythm, and alignment needed for a fast-growing, international semiconductor company. As we scale into 2H26 and increase our external market activities, it becomes critical that employees are timely informed, genuinely heard, and aligned across every layer of the organization - from leadership and C-team to the Fab, R&D, Accounting, site management, and every department in between.

The Internal Communications Manager is the single owner of how we communicate internally. This is not a support function. The role is responsible for driving the agenda, building scalable communication processes, and enabling effective communication across the entire organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Own internal messaging and content across the organization.

  • Support leadership communication preparation and follow-up.

  • Own and coordinate recurring communication formats including:

    • Town Hall

    • Leadership Meeting communication preparation and follow-up

    • Weekly Monday Bulletin

    • Company Offsite

    • Summer Party internal engagement and communications

    • YES (Year-End Summary / annual communication moment)

    • QOR (Quarterly Operations Review - internal messaging)

  • Own and develop the internal information hub, including data structure, SharePoint, and Blacknet onboarding.

  • Publish and manage company-wide notices and announcements.

  • Conduct regular check-ins with teams to surface information gaps and unmet communication needs.

  • Act as a communication coach, helping leaders, managers, and departments improve how they communicate internally.

  • Work in close sparring with the Marcom team to ensure internal and external messaging are aligned on brand, tone, and timing.

  • Connect all layers of the organization including C-team, leadership, fab organization, site management, accounting, and all departments.

  • Support change and crisis communications.

  • Contribute to building a scalable communications playbook that grows with the organization beyond 140 employees.

Your Profile

  • Several years of hands-on internal or corporate communications experience, with a talent for clear, authentic, and human messaging.

  • Strong English writing skills - clear, human, and culturally aware.

  • Experience building or significantly improving communication processes end-to-end.

  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, high-expectations environment.

  • Cultural intelligence and experience working in international environments.

  • Able to work with AI tools as part of the daily workflow.

  • Experience supporting or advising senior leaders on communication is a strong differentiator.

  • Familiarity with internal communications tooling including intranet, newsletters, and engagement tools is beneficial.

  • Experience aligning internal and external communications during periods of growth is beneficial.

  • Coaching or training experience with teams or leaders in communication quality is beneficial.

  • Tech, deep tech, or high-growth scale-up experience is a strong plus.

  • Semiconductor industry knowledge is not required.

  • Team management experience is not required.

  • This is a mid to senior individual contributor role requiring autonomy, strong influence without authority, and a genuinely hands-on mindset.
