Are you highly organised, detail-focused, and confident working in a fast-paced warehouse environment?

We’re looking for a Frozen Inventory, Goods In & Pricing Controller to join our Operations team in Darton, Barnsley. You will play a key role in ensuring stock accuracy, pricing integrity, and smooth goods-in processes across our frozen operation.

About us

Company Shop Group is the largest commercial redistributor of surplus food and household products in the UK, enabling some of the biggest retailers, manufacturers, food service and logistics providers to unlock value from surplus stock, which may have otherwise gone to waste.

The surplus we handle is redistributed through our Company Shop stores and our award-winning social enterprise Community Shop where we build stronger individuals and more confident communities.

Working with our partners, we deliver an incredible impact and we're proud to be a good business doing good.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate warehouse inventory, supporting pricing control across the business, and ensuring all incoming stock is booked in correctly and efficiently.

Inventory Control

  • Carry out cycle counts and stock investigations to maintain stock integrity and traceability
  • Investigate stock discrepancies and non-picked stock using root cause analysis
  • Manage quarantined stock and complete stock adjustments in line with procedures
  • Support product withdrawals, returns, and stock redistribution across the network
  • Use warehouse equipment, including scissor lifts, to complete stock integrity tasks

Pricing Control

  • Set up and maintain accurate item and pricing information across systems
  • Input and monitor cost prices, RRPs, and promotional pricing
  • Challenge pricing discrepancies to help protect margins and maintain commercial standards
  • Create and manage non-scanning and weighted/deli product formats

Goods In

  • Book in deliveries arriving at the Darton warehouse and external coldstore sites
  • Check deliveries for damaged or missing stock
  • Split deliveries and prepare pallets for storage within warehouse racking
  • Maintain accurate stock records within the warehouse management system
  • Support operational tasks including labelling, allocations, and picking when required
