Responsibilities Lead current-state assessment of cloud infrastructure practices, team capabilities, delivery bottlenecks, and governance gaps across a globally distributed organization Design Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE) operating model defining ownership boundaries, responsibilities, and escalation paths between central platform and product engineering teams Define cross-cutting standards framework for AWS account structure, multi-region strategy, security baselines, resilience, and scalability Design exception-handling and design-checkpoint processes that enable innovation beyond standard patterns without creating bottlenecks Create transition roadmap and enablement strategies to reduce product team dependency on the central Cloud team Partner with security architects to embed security guardrails and IAM governance into the CoE framework Provide strategic guidance and stakeholder management across technical and executive audiences Requirements - Fluency in English for daily communication with our client (please submit your resume in English). Proven experience in cloud strategy, architecture, or platform engineering, with focus on operating model design and organizational transformation Deep expertise in AWS enterprise architecture including multi-account strategies, AWS Transit Gateway, IAM management, and governance frameworks Experience designing Cloud Centers of Excellence or platform engineering transformations in complex organizations Strong understanding of modern platform engineering principles: self-service patterns, golden paths, internal developer platforms, and team topologies Experience defining standards frameworks across security baselines, networking models, IAM governance, and CI/CD patterns Strategic thinking to balance standardization, autonomy, and innovation across diverse engineering teams Understanding of Kubernetes (EKS) multi-tenancy, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and cloud-native architectures Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical teams and executive audiences Experience working with distributed, international teams in fast-paced environments Ability to operate at both strategic (framework design) and tactical (standards documentation) levels Nice to Have Familiarity with GitHub Actions, OIDC-based authentication patterns, and modern GitOps workflows Knowledge of DNS governance at scale and Content Delivery Network (CDN) architectures Experience with AI-powered developer enablement tools and internal documentation platforms What You'll Deliver Cloud CoE transformation, including ownership model, standards definition, and governance processes Transition roadmap with phased implementation approach If you like it, just apply and good luck! #LI-JM2
