The role & it's impact:

As a Partner Success Manager, you will play a vital part in accelerating the growth of our accounting and bookkeeping partners across New Zealand. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, helping firms realise the full value of the Xero ecosystem by providing the strategy and education they need to increase their revenue and better support their small business clients.

By combatting churn and identifying opportunities for plan upgrades, you will ensure that our partners and their clients have the best technology at their fingertips to make running a beautiful business possible.

This team & how they connect:

You will join a high-performing team of eight reporting to our Manager of Partner Success, where collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. We work closely with our Partner Consulting teams to deliver a seamless service, sharing insights and feedback to ensure our partners' voices are heard.

Initially, you will focus on:

  • Developing and executing territory plans to increase the adoption of Business Edition plans and connected payment services.

  • Planning and hosting events designed to educate partners on the mechanics and benefits of the Xero Partner programme.

  • Deepening online strategies within practices to increase active users and influence the adoption of adjacent products.

  • Using Salesforce to manage relationship health and identify potential risk areas for early mitigation.

Where and how you can work:

This is a permanent, full-time role based in either Auckland. We embrace a hybrid working model that balances the flexibility of remote work with purposeful "boost days" in the office to connect and collaborate with the wider team.

Here are some of the things we are looking for:

  • You bring a proven track record in sales performance, specifically within financial technology or accounting software environments.

  • Your ability to create quick rapport and manage long-term relationships with senior stakeholders helps you become a go-to advisor.

  • You possess the public speaking skills and enthusiasm required to present effectively at partner events and webinars.

  • You demonstrate plenty of initiative and the ability to work autonomously to meet and exceed expectations.

  • A genuine passion for making a difference and an intrigue for the emerging online accounting market drives your work.

At Xero, we hire based on your skills, passion, and the unique perspective you can bring to enhance our culture and team so we encourage you to apply even if your experience isn't a perfect match!
