We have an opportunity for an Senior Aerodynamics Engineer (Thermal) to join the team at our Silverstone facility. In this role, you will work within a group of engineers to support the development of the aerodynamic thermal systems of the team’s race cars (brakes, PU, electronics), through the analysis of computational methods and an innovative approach to design and development. We aspire to be the absolute best in every aspect of our team. - Develop aerodynamic cooling solutions for PU, brake, electronics, and other thermal systems, ensuring target performance parameters are met
- Analyse CFD and test data (rig, tunnel, track) to deliver car performance and drive innovation in design and development
- Build a strong understanding of aerodynamic structures and behaviours around the race car to inform thermal strategies
- Collaborate with management and engineering teams to define and deliver a clear aerodynamic thermal development plan
- Continuously improve design, testing, and analysis processes by proposing and implementing new methods and tools
