About the Team You’ll join the Connectivity squad within Spotify’s Core Infrastructure studio. This team owns the client networking stack end-to-end, from HTTP requests to real-time messaging and connection state management. Working at the intersection of mobile platforms and backend systems, the squad plays a critical role in ensuring seamless connectivity for hundreds of millions of users globally. This is an opportunity to join early in the squad’s formation, working alongside a small group of senior engineers with high ownership and direct influence on technical direction. You’ll collaborate closely with backend teams to shape client-server communication, protocols, and reliability at scale.
