Job description
We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer who enjoys working in a dynamic and supportive team. You’ll be a key player in making sure our web and mobile applications work smoothly and meet high quality standards. You’ll work closely with developers and product managers to test features both manually and through automation, mostly in JavaScript-based environments. Your goal will be to help the team release faster while keeping our code stable and reliable. You’ll test everything from backend APIs to mobile apps, and help us improve how we build and deliver software. This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a real impact, work across different systems, and help shape our QA processes.
Responsibilities
- Test web and mobile apps manually and with automated scripts to make sure everything works as expected.
- Work closely with developers and product managers to understand new features and help plan testing early in the process.
- Write and maintain test cases to cover new features and existing functionality, making sure we have strong test coverage.
- Find and report bugs clearly, helping developers understand what went wrong and how to fix it.
- Keep track of bugs from the moment they are found to when they are fixed and confirmed.
- Provide test support for the development team throughout all stages of development.
- Improve our test automation by writing new tests and improving the testing framework (mostly in JavaScript).
- Participate in code and test reviews, offering suggestions and learning from teammates.
- Help define and improve QA processes, making sure our testing is efficient and reliable.
- Take part in release testing, ensuring each new version is high-quality and ready for users.
- Take full responsibility for the quality of part of the product.
- Work on backend (API) and frontend testing, mobile apps.
- Make suggestions for improvements based on your test results and user feedback.
- Make status and quality reporting in daily meetings. Communicate on any risks from a QA perspective that could affect the future release.
