Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automation frameworks for web and API testing 
  • Automate end-to-end, functional test scenarios from scratch, ensuring comprehensive coverage and scalability
  • Analyse automation test failures, investigate root causes, and support development teams in early defect identification
  • Review nightly automation execution results and communicate defects with actionable insights
  • Mentor and guide junior automation engineerspromoting best practices and continuous improvement in test automation
  • Collaborate with developers, and QA teams within an Agile/Scrum environment to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
  • Contribute to building reliable CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and quality assurance
  • Perform End to End testing and ensure delivery timelines are met in fast-paced or high-pressure situations
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, automation design principles, and quality engineering practices
