Joining our Live games team means collaborating with gaming industry experts on globally renowned, enduring games while embracing exciting new entrepreneurial ventures. You will be joining one of our Live Studios, working on Paper.io 2, one of the most successful and iconic arcade/io games on the market.

We believe that mobile game success isn't just about graphics, it’s about psychology, game feel, and sensory satisfaction. We are looking for an audio wizard and video editing ninja to help us take our game’s auditory identity and marketing creatives to the next level.

Role

We are looking for a unique hybrid profile. This role is split 50/50 between in-game audio development and User Acquisition (UA) Marketing creation.
You understand that the exact pitch of a "coin collection" sound can drastically impact player retention. You know how to edit a 30-second video ad that hooks a viewer in 2 seconds, builds frantic tension, and resolves with an ultra-satisfying ASMR drop. You don't just make things sound good; you engineer dopamine loops.

What you will do:

  • 50% In-Game Sound Design (The "Juiciness")

    • Revamp the Auditory Identity: Completely redesign and modernize the soundscape of Paper.io2 to make every action feel incredibly satisfying, tangible, and responsive

    • Engineer Satisfaction: Create ASMR-quality sound effects for the core loop (drawing lines, capturing territory, destroying enemies)

    • Master the Dopamine Escalation: Implement psychological audio systems (e.g., pitch-shifting combo sounds, dynamic tempo changes based on gameplay speed, satisfying UI feedback)

    • Integration: Work closely with our developers to implement audio assets smoothly into the game engine (Unity)

  • 50% Marketing & UA Video Creation (The "Scroll-Stoppers")

    • Sound Design for Ads: Take raw gameplay footage and elevate it into high-converting UA ads using advanced sound design (risers, impacts, sidechaining, and rhythm-based editing)

    • Video Editing & Motion Design: Produce 30-second video ads from scratch. You will script, edit, and animate creatives that master the art of "Controlled Chaos" and high cognitive fluidity

    • A/B Testing & Iteration: Analyze which video/audio hooks perform best on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, and quickly iterate on winning formulas

Profile

What we are looking for:

  • The Audio Arsenal: Expert proficiency in DAWs (Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, or Reaper) and sound synthesis/recording

  • The Video Arsenal: Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or equivalent software). You know how to cut to the beat and use visual effects to highlight gameplay

  • The "Game Feel" Master: You have a deep understanding of what makes mobile games "juicy" (anticipation, impact, resolution, ASMR, cognitive ease)

  • Engine Experience: Familiarity with Unity and audio middleware

  • Autonomy: You are a self-starter who can take a vague concept ("Make this feel like power-washing a dirty floor") and translate it into a final video ad

Bonus points if:

  • You have previous experience creating UA video ads for casual, hyper-casual, or arcade mobile games

  • You are obsessed with TikTok trends, meme culture, and understand what makes people stop scrolling
