Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role:

Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI Factory company with a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. Our competitive advantage—"Speed is the only moat"—is directly tied to our ability to rapidly build and deploy our own modular power and compute infrastructure.

Crusoe's "Spark" modular data center is the physical edge of the AI frontier. To meet our goal of 100+ units in 2027, we need world-class project execution. We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to own the end-to-end lifecycle of Spark deployments: from powered land project approval to the moment the Spark cluster is "Available to Customer".

What You'll Be Working On:

I. Deployment Lifecycle Management

  • End-to-End Ownership: Manage the project schedule, budget, and resource allocation for one or more Spark deployment projects.

  • Site Readiness: Coordinate with Crusoe and 3rd party subject matter experts on site preparation, permitting, and utility interconnection timelines to ensure sites are ready the moment Sparks arrive.

  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify bottlenecks in procurement, construction, networking, and power readiness. Always have a "Plan B" to maintain velocity.

II. Cross-Functional Orchestration

  • Internal Connectivity: Serve as the air traffic controller between Real Estate, Finance, Manufacturing Planning, Cloud Product & Procurement, Site Design & Engineering, Construction, and the Spark Business Unit on a project basis. Following Spark program best practices, establish and run weekly team meetings, adjusting and supplementing with ad hoc meetings based on the project objectives.

  • External Partner Coordination: Manage relationships with various third-party contractors and suppliers across site design and procurement.

  • Reporting: Provide high-fidelity project status updates for the executives, focusing on predictability and critical path items, coordinating with the Lead Technical Project Manager to help develop, manage and distribute a Spark deployments dashboard.

III. Process Standardization

  • The Playbook: Contribute to the creation and refinement of the "Spark Deployment Playbook," standardizing how we handle fast, predictable deployment cadences from end-to-end. Meticulously record lessons learned and identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Safety & Readiness: A relentless commitment to safety and "Mountaineer" level focus on operational readiness.

  • Technical Project Leadership: 5-7+ years of experience managing complex, capital-intensive infrastructure or first-of-a-kind projects (data centers, energy, advanced manufacturing - bonus for experience with distributed generation energy or multi-site repeatable deployment projects) with budgets exceeding $100M.

  • Schedule Mastery: Demonstrated expertise in scheduling software; you leverage schedules as a proactive decision making tool.

  • Technical Acumen: Evidence of technical breadth and curiosity to manage engineering requirements, evaluate trade-offs, connect the dots, and surface risks across electrical, mechanical, civil, cloud, and network engineering.

  • Vendor & Contract Management: Experience managing and coordinating across multiple third-party service providers whose deliverables impact the critical path.

  • Exceptional Communication and Organization: Knows how to read the room and adjust communication styles accordingly. Sets a high bar for clear, concise, and credible communication. A steady hand at the wheel during periods of ambiguity or change, while guiding the team toward world class project management practices.

  • Resilience: Proven ability to drive projects to completion despite global supply chain headwinds or technical uncertainty. Ensure a “no surprise” mentality on project timelines, schedules, budgets and deployments with alternatives identified such that projects remain on schedule and within budget.
