Reporting to the Quality Manager and supporting the EHS Manager to maintain integrity of the training system for the following core reasons:

Objectivity:

  • Production Managers are naturally driven by throughput and deadlines. Reporting to Quality ensures that "speed" never overrides "competency."

Compliance Alignment:

  • Quality departments own the ISO standards. Since training records are a core pillar of ISO compliance, it creates a seamless audit trail.

The "Safety-First" Buffer:

  • Switchgear involves high-voltage testing. Having the Training Coordinator under Quality reinforces a culture where a machine is only operated when the user is verified as safe and capable, not just because a shift is behind schedule.
