About the Role: We're looking for an analytical, curious mind with a passion for shipping and technology to join our vessel performance team in Athens. In this role, you'll work at the intersection of data, engineering and commercial insight — helping shipowners and operators understand and improve how their vessels perform. You'll analyse performance and emissions data, contribute to the evolution of our analytical models, and support a range of projects across the business. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex problems, cares about getting the details right, and wants to grow their expertise in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. At Signal, we are committed to finding people who are respectful, inclusive, and team players, embodying these values in every role.
What you will do in this role:
- Contribute to and help evolve our analytical models and methodologies for vessel performance, bringing rigour and practical understanding to a core part of our offering.
- Help translate complex performance and emissions data into clear, actionable insights, developing a strong understanding of how our system works and the value it delivers.
- Work across a range of projects - from emissions compliance to commercial claims and fleet benchmarking - building your technical breadth and deepening your expertise.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the team, adapting to different timelines and requirements while developing a broader understanding of the business. As you grow, take ownership of specific analytical workflows and client deliverables.
