We want you to #JOINTHEREBELLION!

For 30 years we’ve been independently developing and publishing incredible video games at our multiple studios founded by Jason & Chris Kingsley, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.

Rebellion is growing! We’re on the hunt for an imaginative Video Editor to help us bring bold stories and standout visuals to life.

The Video Editor position is an exciting opportunity within our internal marketing video team, which is a crucial part of the broader Rebellion Marketing group. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our creative process, responsible for editing and producing captivating videos, demos, and cut scenes that showcase Rebellion’s products. You'll also ensure that your work aligns seamlessly with both the technical specifications and the artistic vision of each project.

This role is based at our riverside headquarters in Oxford, offering a creative and relaxed atmosphere where teamwork drives our success. We can provide a relocation package, including moving assistance, temporary accommodation, and full support to ensure a smooth transition to your new environment.

We believe in the power of face-to-face collaboration and encourage working from our Oxford headquarters. However, we understand that flexibility matters, so we’re open to discussing hybrid options based on individual needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Capturing and editing high-quality video content for use both internally and externally to enhance appeal and awareness for Rebellion’s products.
  • Creating motion graphics to be used for promotional material.
  • Ensuring each video asset is fit for purpose for the target audience and channel, in line with briefings and delivery schedules from the Marketing team.
  • Collaborating closely with key internal development stakeholders with each function to create best outcomes, within given restraints and guidelines. Specifically, these include Marketing, Art, Designers, Programmers, Outsourcing and Producers.
  • Collaborating closely with team members in the Video Editing department as well as Producers to solicit feedback and ensure that the direction of work aligns with the initial briefs.
  • Utilising specialist video tools and tactics to convert video for in-game.
  • Tracking and updating the progress of day-to-day tasks using the designated tracking tools.
  • Actively seeking innovative ways to engage a targeted audience to heighten awareness and sales potential for Rebellion’s games.
