Our Mission
Reflection’s mission is to build open superintelligence and make it accessible to all.
We’re developing open weight models for individuals, agents, enterprises, and even nation states. Our team of AI researchers and company builders come from DeepMind, OpenAI, Google Brain, Meta, Character.AI, Anthropic and beyond.
About the Role
Reflection's team is global, growing fast, and made up of some of the most sought-after talent in AI. The benefits programs we offer need to reflect that. We're looking for a Benefits Manager to own our global benefits function end-to-end — designing programs that are competitive, cost-effective, and genuinely valued by our team. You'll work closely with the Head of Total Rewards to build the strategy, then execute it yourself. This is a high-ownership role with real scope: you'll manage complex vendor relationships, lead renewals and open enrollment, and expand our programs as we enter new markets. If you've built world-class benefits at a high-growth company and want to do it again at a place building something consequential, this is the role.
What You’ll Do
Own the design, administration, and ongoing management of global benefits programs across all markets where we operate.
Lead annual benefits renewals, market benchmarking, and open enrollment processes — including planning, communications, system configuration, and employee support from start to finish.
Manage relationships with brokers, consultants, insurance carriers, and benefits vendors — including contract negotiations and RFPs.
Take programs to market proactively — running competitive RFP processes to evaluate vendors, benchmark offerings, and ensure we're getting the best value.
Build and manage relationships with global benefits brokers and international partners, ensuring our programs are locally compliant and competitive in every market we operate in.
Evaluate and recommend benefits offerings, wellbeing programs, and perks that support attraction and retention of top talent.
Partner with the Head of Total Rewards to develop and evolve our global benefits strategy.
Implement benefits programs in new countries as Reflection expands internationally.
Serve as the escalation point for complex employee benefits questions and issues.
Partner with People Operations, Payroll, and Finance to ensure seamless benefits administration.
Track utilization, participation, and cost trends — and translate that data into clear recommendations.
Develop employee-facing communications, education materials, and benefits resources.
Ensure compliance with applicable benefits regulations and reporting requirements across jurisdictions.
What We’re Looking For
5–8+ years managing employee benefits programs, ideally at high-growth technology companies.
Deep expertise in U.S. benefits — medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement, and leave.
Proven experience managing international benefits programs and working directly with global brokers and regional partners across multiple countries.
Strong track record leading open enrollment end-to-end — from planning and communications through execution and employee support.
Experience taking benefits programs to market — running RFP processes, evaluating vendors, and negotiating contracts.
Experience managing brokers, carriers, consultants, and external vendors.
Strong grasp of plan design, funding models, and cost management.
Excellent project management skills and a bias toward execution.
Analytically sharp — comfortable interpreting utilization, enrollment, and cost data to drive decisions.
Clear, direct communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
Able to balance employee experience, market competitiveness, and financial stewardship without losing sight of any.
High ownership mindset; thrives with autonomy in fast-moving environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing international benefits programs across multiple countries.
Experience supporting global expansion and benefits implementation in new markets.
Experience working with PEO, EOR, and international payroll providers.
Familiarity with Rippling, Sequoia, or similar benefits administration platforms.
Experience conducting vendor RFPs and contract negotiations.
Experience supporting highly competitive technical talent populations.
