The Role: 

Reporting to the Fleet Manager, the Fleet Mechanic is responsible for maintaining ATC’s fleet of vehicles and trailers, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational readiness within a modern, state-of-the-art workshop environment. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintenance and repair of HGVs, trailers, and vans 
  • Routine servicing and CVRT preparation 
  • 12/13-week inspections 
  • Diagnostics and fault finding 
  • Preventative maintenance scheduling 
  • Tail lift inspections and tyre coordination 
  • Maintain records and reports 
  • Support apprentice development-  
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment
