Are you a warm, friendly educator, making a difference in the lives of students with SEND needs? We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors who鈥檒l provide personalised, 1:1 support for students in GCSE Geography. These in-person sessions in Hackney offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.
- This job is in person in the Hackney area.
- Hour(s): 1.5 hours per week, with the potential to build up to 4 hours per week
- Contract Length: Indefinite
- Available Day(s) and Time(s): Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays at 11.00am - 12.30pm
- Subject and Level: GCSE Geography
- Start Date: Immediate
- Rate of Pay: 拢35 p/h
What You'll Do:
- Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level.
- Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Provide targeted support for students.
- Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor progress, produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in.
- Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager.
