Summary: The Global PR Director will define, lead, and elevate Huda Beauty’s global public relations strategy, shaping how the brand shows up in earned media, culture, and global storytelling moments. This leader will build brand equity, protect reputation, and drive cultural relevance through world‑class communications.
This role requires a visionary PR strategist with deep global media expertise, a robust industry network, and a proven ability to craft narratives that influence brand perception across markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Define and own the global PR strategy to strengthen brand visibility, desirability, and authority.
- Ensure PR narratives ladder seamlessly into broader brand and communication strategies across markets.
- Build global frameworks, playbooks, and processes that ensure PR excellence and consistency.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the Founder, VP Communications, and senior leadership on brand narrative and cultural storytelling.
Public Relations
- Lead and evolve the global PR function to set industry benchmarks in storytelling, influence, and thought leadership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global editors, key media, creators, and cultural voices.
- Lead PR for major product launches, brand milestones, founder initiatives, and purpose-driven campaigns.
- Architect global storytelling initiatives that strengthen brand values around innovation, inclusivity, and ethics.
- Represent Huda Beauty in high-level communications, including founder media preparation, interviews, messaging, and press opportunities.
- Partner with internal communications to ensure internal narratives align with external brand storytelling.
Future of PR & Innovation
- Champion modern PR formats including brand journalism, social-first storytelling, and creator‑driven earned media—not event-led experiences.
- Stay ahead of evolving media ecosystems, emerging platforms, and cultural storytelling trends.
- Integrate non-traditional and cross‑platform storytelling to maintain cultural relevance.
- Partner with digital, social, and content teams to strengthen owned media channels that support earned narratives.
- Explore emerging technologies (AI-driven insights, predictive media tools) to enhance PR strategy and narrative targeting.
Crisis Management & Brand Protection
- Develop and maintain crisis communication protocols, ensuring readiness and rapid response.
- Provide strategic counsel to leadership on sensitive issues, reputation risks, and high-stakes communications.
Measurement, Reporting & Budgeting
- Define KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure PR impact (media value, SOV, sentiment).
- Own PR budget allocation, ensuring investments align with brand priorities.
- Use analytics and social listening insights to optimize messaging, storytelling, and PR effectiveness.
