Control Risks is seeking a qualified Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Analyst to support a prominent client in managing and mitigating security risks associated with their global operations. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in the monitoring and assessment of various threats that may impact the integrity and safety of personnel, assets, and operations.
This role will be part of a 24/7/365 function, and as such will require holiday and weekend work. This application is for the Swing Shift, covering 1:00PM-11:00PM EST either Sunday-Wednesday, or Wednesday-Saturday.
Key responsibilities of the GSOC Analyst will include:
- Monitor worldwide events; identify events with the potential to impact the Client’s personnel, assets, and operations. Examples of relevant event categories include, but are not limited to: natural disasters, transportation disruptions, political instability, terrorism, crime, and geopolitical developments
- Draft and review concise notifications for distribution to the Client’s decision-makers and global security leaders
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of other global security professionals in support of the GSOC’s 24/7/365 operations
- Facilitate the Client’s crisis management response; coordinate incident escalations and emergency communications to site, regional, and enterprise-level global security leadership
- Track, monitor, and mitigate any potential risks to executive and company C-suit leadership during travel
- Conduct detailed written and verbal situation briefings to global security executives and higher
- Participate in training and exercises to ensure GSOC team proficiency and compliance with standard operating procedures
- Conduct after-action reviews (AARs) to identify lessons learned and best practices
- Work with the Client’s Global Security team and vendors
- Ability to collaborate with Global Security’s Protective Services and Systems & Technology team
- Ability to exhibit diplomacy, professionalism, and calm under pressure during critical incidents
- Ability to multi-task and track multiple occurring events
