About Snappi

At Snappi, we're building a neobank from the ground up. Our mission is to empower financial freedom through technology, offering innovative and transparent digital banking solutions.

Join us in reshaping the financial landscape!

About the role

The Head of Data owns Snappi's data function end-to-end. You will lead two sub-domains: Reporting & Analytics (business intelligence, regulatory reporting, insight generation) and Credit Engine (data pipelines for lending, credit scoring, behavioural analytics, AI-driven underwriting, and financial resilience modelling).

You are also the data foundation for our Financial Literacy and AI (FIONA) capability — translating model outputs into customer-facing financial guidance.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will set strategy, shape architecture, and run the team. You will also be responsible for raising the bar on professionalism and performance within the function.

The position is available at both our Ioannina and Athens offices.

What you'll be doing

  • End-to-end data platform: ingestion, pipelines, architecture, quality, and governance
  • Business intelligence and management reporting
  • Regulatory data reporting to the Bank of Greece and ECB
  • Data Governance framework: policies, lineage, stewardship, and GDPR alignment
  • Credit scoring models, AI/ML underwriting capabilities, and financial resilience metrics
  • Data team performance, development, and professional standards
